Another native born Texan living in Akhisar! The initial quake was strong enough to make us go outside. It seemed as if the walls were undulating and some small things toppled from bookshelves. The streets were quite full all evening long with people wanting to avoid being in their homes, many of which are old and probably not up to code. The city of Akhisar opened several facilities for people to wait out aftershocks and stay warm.
