From Peter Labak: Seismology Division, Slovak Academy of Sciences :The epicenter was close to Zakopane (Poland) near High TatryMnts.(Slovakia), where few days ago, strong windstorm damaged significantpart of forests. Therefore, the earthquake caused panic reaction of somepeople in this area.The earthquake was felt on large area of Northern, Central and EasternSlovakia.No damage to buildings was reported to us yet.The Geophysical Institute, Slovak Academy of Sciences performs macroseismicsurvey using our questionnaires.More information on the earthquake can be found on www.seismology.sk
