We live in an Appartement with around 20 floors Alarm was really quite Nobody knows what to do, now everybody is standing outside and waiting

Shaky but only for a minute or 2

the effects for me is that the earthquake is lind a strong that it makes my bed shook? and the toilet seater moved when my sister is showering...

I’m at 7th floor

Felt building swaying on 40th floor on Jl Senopati, Jakarta. Could hear doors move throughout the building.

I was sleeping and awoke . The doors within our apartment began to rattle significantly. I thought someone was trying to break into our apartment. I ran from room to room trying to find out what was going on. Freaky.

I just felt a little shake when im on my bed. My bottle is shaking too.

I live on the 20th floor of my apartment in central Jakarta. I just woke up as it sounded like someone had broken into my house and was smashing my belongings. My bed was shaking. The noises I heard were my pendant lights smashing against the wall of my bathroom. My lights are all swinging, the windows rattled hard.

The ceiling lamps swing. Our closet/cupboard was moving. And the earthquake created waves in the swimming pool near our home.

From 27th floor apartment in West Jakarta; Windows and hanging lamps are shaking. Residents did a quick sweep around the floor and guide elderly to evacuate. For some reason, our security personel doesn’t feel a thing on the ground level. The building alarm doesn’t ring. Still no official statement from building management.

Awoken from sleep on the 17th floor due to the sound of door rattling. Probably lasted around 10-20 seconds. Others felt it too and some left the building as a precaution. No damage apparent.
