New Features on Lastquake App !
After the devastating earthquake of the 25 April 2015 in Nepal, LastQuake app users have expressed the wish to see safety instructions on what to do after an earthquake included as part of the app.
For this reason, the EMSC and THALES Foundation have decided to combine their expertise in order to disseminate first safety instructions that facilitate relief operations and limit inappropriate behavior. Since September 2016, two main features have been added to LastQuake app:
• A “Safety Check” service to reassure your loved ones via SMS
• Some post-earthquake safety tips.
